Energy Savings Programs

Ameren Illinois Savings

In an effort to help Ameren customers become smarter and safer energy consumers, Ameren’s Act on Energy program was created to help Illinois businesses and public facilities find access to programs, rebates and cash incentives for reducing energy costs. To learn about cost savings options for a company/organization, start by scheduling a free energy assessment with an Ameren Energy Advisor.

Morton’s Ameren advisor is Steven Smith.  He can be reached by phone at 309-212-5831 or by e-mail at Steven.L.Smith@leidos.comMr. Smith will provide a report with project recommendations, project costs, and potential savings.  He would then help your company implement the recommendations for maximum savings.

Your company will benefit from:

  • The free energy assessment.
  • Low out of pocket costs.
  • Instant discounts on new equipment coordinated through Program Allies – contractors who are registered with Ameren and have received special training on their energy reduction programs.

Savings programs exist for residential customers, but they follow a different process.  Interested persons can research the possibilities through the Act on Energy website above too.

If you have questions or need advice regarding the program, please contact Leigh Ann Brown or Lenora Fisher at the Morton Economic Development Council.  We can be reached at 309-263-2491 or via e-mail at labrown@mortonillinois.org and would be happy to advise.
