Daly Elected to MAEDC Board
Jennifer Daly, CEO for the Morton EDC, was recently invited to join the Mid-America Economic Development Council Board of Directors. “I have been a member of MAEDC since 2001 and I am honored to join the efforts of such a well-run and impactful organization,” said Daly.
The Mid-America Economic Development Council is an organization that provides economic development professionals in a ten-state Midwest region with resources, recognition, promotion, and networking. Their conferences are primarily focused on relationship building with site-selectors and the sharing of best practices between communities. Daly will represent the state of Illinois on the board along with Eric Voyle of Rockford.
“In addition to providing a great opportunity to serve the economic development community, this position will allow me to learn from the best and brightest economic developers in the Midwest,” said Daly. “That knowledge will be critical in helping us to continue to improve the Morton EDC and our local and regional efforts.”
