Morton’s access to both Interstate 74 and Interstate 155 have positioned the community as a center for distribution and logistics services in Central Illinois. CAT Logistics, Caterpillar’s worldwide logistics operations are headquartered in Morton and have supported the development of several other world class transportation operations including G&D Integrated, Star Transport, and Air-Land Transport Service. Morton also offers rail service, direct access to the Peoria port, and two international airports within 30 miles.
