Jennifer Daly, CEO for the Morton EDC, was recently invited to join the Mid-America Economic Development Council Board of Directors.  “I have been a member of MAEDC since 2001 and I am honored to join the efforts of such a well-run and impactful organization,” said Daly.

Village Approves Downtown Plan

On December 19th, the Village of Morton Trustees officially approved the new Morton Downtown Development Plan. “We want to thank our Trustees for their endorsement and adoption of the plan,” said Jennifer Daly, CEO for the Morton EDC. “We had hundreds of local citizens participate in the development of the plan and we believe it addresses the concerns and vision conveyed in our Village Comprehensive Plan.”

Tremont Savings Bank Merges with MCB

Hometown Community Bancorp, Inc. and its subsidiary Morton Community Bank, and TSB Financial, Inc. and its subsidiary Tremont Savings Bank, announce that Tremont Savings Bank will merge with Morton Community Bank.
